| Dave is originally from the Washington, D.C. area where he began studying magic at the young age of 14 under the guidance of Al Cohen, world renowned magician and creator. Over the years, Dave has shaped his skills and showmanship by studying the work of some of the World’s most prominent magicians. Today, he is among a relatively small group of highly esteemed entertainers formally trained at the Chavez Studio of Magic, the only bonafide school of magic in the United States. His accomplishments in magic have ranged from winning local talent contests to placing second for his style and creativity in a competition hosted by Germany’s prestigious Magic Circle. Dave was recently recognized by Mr. Tony Hassini, Chairman and CEO of the International Magicians Society, who named him as one of the first “lifetime” Presidents authorized to establish a local chapter in the United States.
With his award-winning magic, Dave has entertained both magicians and lay audiences throughout the United States and Europe.
